Prepress

Omeko's prepress thoroughly checks the files in terms of their compatibility with the guidelines of their preparation. Every file is subjected to an automatic process called preflight, during which such important issues are checked, as resolution of graphic elements, correctness of the color space and file correctness in terms of bleeds and font hinting. Every Client is given imposition layouts for acceptation, and can verify whether the file previously provided has been properly interpreted by RIP Omeko.

Our prepress has a modern system of color proofing calibrated with printing machines. We work based on the CIP 3 system, which greatly shortens the process of setting printing machines and ensures the optimal color reproduction, according to previously prepared color proof. Preparation of printing plates is carried out with brand Screen and Heidelberg machines.

Press

OMEKO prints in offset print technology, combining the advantages of highly efficient reel-fed print with the highest quality of sheet-fed print and the flexibility of digital print. Our press also has a wide range of finishing methods by means of various types of sheet lacquering and foliation.

Press equipment consists of 7 Heidelberg and Mueller Martini offset machines, with a total of 26 printing units as well as a number of OCE digital printing machines, whose specification allows combining digital print with both sheet and reel offset print.
